Nendoroid 820 Itachi Uchiha Review MyFigureCollection.net
For today, I will be reviewing the Itachi Uchiha nendoroid from the Naruto series by Good Smile Company. Itachi is my favorite character from the series, so of course I had to get the husbando. ^^ The Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi nendoroids have already been released with Sakura and Hinata being on the way. Wonder who will be next on the list?

Anyway I did not expect the little guy to arrive about a month conveniently before my birthday, so I’m glad he’s finally here. I wasn’t the only one waiting; Sasuke has been waiting for his nii-san to arrive for months now. (I can picture him screaming for his brother). XD
Interesting enough this guy wanted to help open the box for me.

So where to begin, once I opened the box I was surprised to notice how small Itachi’s nendoroid box was compared to Sasuke’s, but I suppose that’s a blessing in disguise since I end up saving space.
Along with the nendoroid itself included the regular stand and parts as well as 2 facial plates with one showing Itachi using his Mangekyo Sharingan and smiling. Itachi wouldn’t be complete without his famous Akatsuki cloak that he wears throughout the series. The nendoroid also includes an extra arm showing when he pokes Sasuke representing his profound quote “Forgive me Sasuke…maybe next time,” his hand jutsu arms that fit perfectly with his cloak, a small depiction of the Amaterasu, and his Susanoo as a background.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I was pretty happy with Itachi’s nendoroid, but it would have been nice to see him with more accessories where he uses the Great Fireball Technique which is one of the famously and favored moves of the Uchiha clan. I wished that the nendoroid included a crow perched on his arm like the way he is depicted in item/269726. Itachi is known for his precision in shurikenjutsu, so I wish parts where created and included to where he could hold or throw kunai. I noticed that his fingernails and toenails were not painted in purple, however it’s understandable considering his size. As a finishing touch, it would have been so cute if a straw hat and a plate of dango (his favorite food) was included.
Itachi is definitely a “must-have” for those of you who are Naruto fans and if is he one of your favorite characters. He can fly solo or be best represented alongside his little brother.
