Convicted killer John Delling caught climbing fences at IDOC
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — Convicted killer John Delling has been moved to the Idaho Maximum Security Institution after prison officials say he was caught climbing over two fences at the Idaho State Correctional Institution.
Jeff Ray, Idaho Department of Correction public information officer, told KBOI 2News that an officer patrolling the perimeter spotted Delling next to an interior fence Wednesday morning and then notified security. He was taken into custody without incident.
Ray says Delling, who was convicted of killing two Idaho college students, did not breach the perimeter of the facility.
The two fences Delling climbed do not have razor wire.
