Sofía Margarita Vergara Vergara is a Colombian-American actress, television producer, host, and model. She was the highest-paid actress on US television for seven consecutive years, from 2013 to 2020. Vergara emerged by co-hosting two TV shows for the Spanish TV channel Univisión in the late 1990s. . Her first notable acting work in English was in the movie Chasing Papi.
